Internet Monitoring – Standard Monitoring Services communicated across the Internet with an IP Communication Module. We strongly recommend connecting a UPS – Uninterruptible Power Supply to your computer/modem to ensure reliable communication.
Monitoring with Open/Close Reports – Standard Monitoring Service + Monthly list of alarm activity including arming and disarming of the alarm system)
Monitoring with Monitored Open/Close Report/ – Monitoring with Open/Close Reports + Actions taken following your predetermined instructions if the alarm is operated outside of set parameters
** If considering VOIP for phone service, please be advised that alarm system manufactures do not support monitoring over internet based phone service. In our personal experience, we have had good success with Comcast phone service, but we have had very limited success with Vonage and similar services due to the differences in data packet handling.
** When using a modem to generate phone service, we strongly recommend connecting a UPS – Uninterruptible Power Supply to your computer/modem to ensure reliable communication.
